Been out of action for the longest time ever; now been a week with flu symptoms which is knackering both me and my work. Call it man-flu, laryngitis, whatever. Sore throat, tickly cough (so much it causes headache) and feeling proper crap. My wife caught norovirus at her work (in a hospital) and I didn't get it; all was well with me or so I thought. Can being out in the wind and rain all November stuff my immune system so I now can't shake off a poxy bug? Huh?!

Any miracle cures out there ? Doing all the usuals - O/d ing on kiwi fruit, multi-vits, rest etc etc...

:blushing:

Get well soon mate,a week gone so it should pass soon!

Drink plenty of water, little & often. If you can get some pomegranite juice do so,and a hot drink of lemon juice, water, and a good dollop of honey works wonders on the cough & throat.

must admit i do the honey/ginger/lemon hot drink. but no multivits vit c or echinaisa. my missus swears by them but everytime i have any the manflu really knocks me out.
