Bandits don't exactly sell for the cost of the engine, steel and components either, assembly costs must be dear in US

No they don’t but there still cheaper that the comparable German machine, go check the price if an 9” jensen! You might be shocked !

I wanted to get a tracked 540 Jensen as I wanted the reliability of the Jensen over the forst but it’s was 33k plus vat and the forst TR8 is 26k plus vat and twice the machine. Went with the forst and will hopefully have a good reliable one.

23 cm so yes, 9 inches.

To be fair to the Först, it’s not apples and oranges, but they are different grades if you see what I mean.

The Schliesing is more expensive, more than 30hp more power and built to a better, more robust spec.

My house atm! Not putting it up till I’m sure the replacement is working well.

Interested?

Curious rather than interested would be more accurate, as we both now that over here 2nd hand gear is waaaaay over priced and I'm sure a local would be happy to pay 95% of UK RRP.

Prices are steep, and as you know, you cannot use a Uk road one over here without a lot of effort.

870 odd hours €13900 plus tva, 3 sets of blades, rotor bearings replaced, plus another set spare.

Talk to your bank..
