A mixed bag of milling for us today.  Trying to clear up some odds and sods in the yard. Some Sycamore, Ash and Elm . There was also a small Oak log but I didn't take any photos of that

Hi me too Elm and holly my favourite woods I think I have 1 Elm butt not very big ,ordered Some new bands today so should be milling my last bit of Elm next week,

well going off another post on another thread about expensive logs, some said he had lost his but plug ! so ring shake will be a bit slack,,,

Got a load of firewood and a fair bit of it is showing signs as per the pics. Milled a small log today and got some decent boards, no soft patches so hopefully the rest will turn out the same.
