New branch logger in action

First little job on the farm for this cutting up wood for this summers charcoal. Pretty pleased with it so far.

I like that!  Couple questions:

 

Can you adjust cut length?

Whats max diameter stick?

Green wood and deadwood OK?

Who’s selling these in UK (petrol or hyd rather than PTO)

Reasonably priced?

 

Rather than chipping, what a great method of gaining pallets of ready cut small log. Like it ??

Found the website for the one listed. http://woodprocessor24.co.uk

 

And they are based just up the road from me. Very tempted for my own firewood in my stove

Yes, that is who I bought it through but they are not up the site yet. Not an option on log length other than choosing the 3 knife or 4 knife option and the bigger machines do a longer log length. Greenwood is best but I was processing dry slightly turned beech in the video and yes well priced IMO. It's this firms machines sold through Welmac https://remetcnc.com/?lang=en

Nice. Similar to the gr110 I have but with a wider infeed chute and looks altogether a bit sturdier! Great, simple devices. Hope you have a slip clutch fitted!

No clutch just a shear pin on the PTO

Make sure it will shear before it cuts out the tractor, or worse. I made that mistake and stripped the drive cog on the pto.. was logging Hawthorn at the time. A v that was just a touch too big went in and immediatly jammed the blades The shearpin stayed intact. Was rated for heavier duty than the pto gearing on a compact tractor! It's on a clutch now. 35 hp tractor.
