The Esse Hybrid is now no longer available to order for sale in the UK and Europe as it is not Eco Design 2022 compliant.     Lost a sale for one some months ago as they are on 6 months lead time which would have meant delivery after the 1 Jan 22 cut off.   It is still available for export only outside Europe and the UK.

At that time I could not find any on display at any other dealers either as we sometimes intertrade.

Saw one in the flesh last week at my local dealers. Gorgeous. However, can’t see the point personally? 40 mins to heat up via electric enough to cook a roast, and in the height of summer you’re heating all that thermal mass just to cook dinner! The last thing we need in summer is more heat, our cottage insulation is rubbish.

luckily it was 10cm too wide for our space anyhow, so I just told the other half it wouldn’t fit 🤣

Hi Craig- I am still determined to get one of these cookers now we are renovating our kitchen! Did you find it easy to use and were there only two electric hobs?

there was only 1 electric hob the other two ran off the fire, the electric ring was slow and expensive to use, i mounted a counter top two ring halogen over the top of it
