I cut a beech up a couple years back, it had been felled as part of what i would imagine, an investigation involving some planning development that was to occur approximately 20ft away from where it was stood. It was non existent below ground level about 3ft easy i would of said, and nearly 5ft up centre of trunk that was on floor. It bloody stank when we started ringing/cutting it up!!! [emoji40]?? Made decent firewood what was left.
