Cheers for all the info . Gearbox 1st were 2nd is sounds interesting . Think my legs will not get to cramped as I,m only a short arse 5,8 " . I can understand it getting overloaded with a big bed . That was my plan :blushing: but like you said t sounds like I will be forking off chip to make it tip . thanks again .:biggrin:

there is a screw under the pump which alters the pressure you turn it till it tips :thumbup1:

out off the vehicles i have owned I like the defender the best. cold, unreliable, cramped, leaky, slow, smelly, noisey but what else is cheap to repair and will go across thick mud loaded.

 

Yes yes and yes I can deal with them all apart from the cold . It takes about 8 miles before the cab warms up :thumbdown: And I normally work about in and around my own town :lol:

Can't you change the heater to an oil one, or hook it up to the electric to warm engine and plug inside with heater to warm cab

I,ll look into that at the weekend .A friend has got a night heater from a truck hopefully that might do the trick . thanks for that:thumbup:

 

Some decent door seals might help .lol
