I got an 811 already converted. I'll stick up some more pictures on the other thread later this week.

This is it.

No idea I'm afraid. I'm going to a big house in a few weeks. Will no doubt discover then.

I’ve made it back in car parking alone many times over.
There are ideological issues to wrangle with

+ car parking, some choice surf spots accessible in Kernow via NT car parks at no additional cost.

+ makes for a good day out with plenty of local house / garden / park trees.

- and it is a big minus, Machiavellian skullduggery surrounding recent vote re fox hunting on NT land.

- NT draw down from tax base via ag subsidy.

Footnote - it used to be possible to join NT NZ (at a fraction of the cost) and enjoy reciprocal benefits at UK venues but I believe this Avenue has been shut down (bloody Brexit!)

On balance, from a personal perspective, it’s still an overall positive, but it’s borderline!

Yeah, it's the land subsidy issue for me. I wouldn't buy now.

Yes, joining the NZ branch was a dodge used by many Motorhomers, Tuggers, it's done with now.

That said, it isn't expensive yearly anyway, considering we can overnight FOC. Same as joining some of the caravan/Motorhome clubs.

Some sites that would be £25/night, or more are £12/night for £50/year membership.

Been members for a while. Never been charged to enter a house, the whole lot has always been free. Decent cafes and nice gardnes / parks wherever you are in the UK, but the cafes aren't cheap.

As mentioned above, I've queried their attitudes to country sports and things (taking bequests with the promise of maintaining hunting etc. traditions then reneging on those promises as soon as they have the property), but on balance it's worth it. Some lovely properties they have.
