well if he does hes just sold that  thanks mate  how come it needs parts is it not new 
Rather than keeping someone waiting on parts he just took parts off the saw he's a great guy when it comes to keeping the customer's happy

The loss of torque for an extra 5" of bar is minuscule.
The added bonus is when your tree is over 20" (as in the OP) you don't waste time double cutting.
If your 261 can't pull 18" buried, I'd take it for a service.
Tree surgery disco biscuits or forestry.

I posted a video of a spud ported 560 25" bar .325 vs a 461 stock 25" 3/8.
About the same on a 20" log.


 

It's fun running a 576 with a 15" bar and 8 tooth sprocket.
