Yes, fairly straightforward.

If you want a side tip, then if you can find a three way tipper with a front mount crane you just turn the whole thing round on its subframe.

👍👍 Was yours a flatbed to start with or a tipper? Do you have the tipping gear underneath of use the hiab to tip the body?

IT was a flat when I bought it, I bought a three way tipper body with the subframe and ram from a breaker, and built my chip box on that.

If I was going to do it again I'd build the whole subframe and body from scratch, decent three way tip bodies are like hens teeth.

Is it possible to move a hiab from the front of the lorry to the back?

Can find plenty of front mounted hiabs.

Cheers..Al.

There's a 55 plate three tipper with crane piped for grab on auto trader, also a seddon three way tipper for £4750, just cut the body down and get a crane fitted on the back.

These big trucks seem incredible value compared to 3.5 tonners.

Do you need to eat Yorkies and regularly murder prostitutes to buy one?

Wrong Mark, I have never eaten a Yorkie bar :)
