Yes, you need an "operating address" for your "operators license" as far as I know.

The're both registered as agricultural, yes.

 

We had no objections when I put my ad in the paper, and I had to put it in twice as I missed the deadline for submissions.

 

If you can sneak into a paper that you think your 'do gooders' won't read you might get lucky.

 

Sorry, i suppose i didnt explain very well why i was asking. It wasnt about the operators license, it was more to do with the taxation class of the tractors with you saying you travelled a long way with them.

 

Did you know strictly speaking you are probably breaking the law travelling such distances on Ag?

No worries bud, I don't think I made that last post too clear either, the mogs don't travel those distances, usually, thats why we have a 7.5 tonner and 26 tonner, so we can travel.

I have queried the travelling of ag machines over distances with VOSA and HMRC and both have said as long as we are using the machines within there capabilities and within the rules, we're fine.

They both run on white diesel are maintained to MOT standards etc and so I wasn't made aware of other rules, but I'd be happy to be enlightened.

looking good there Peter, your visibilty from the controls is excelent to the back since it isnt filled in, mine is terrible now that the high sides are on, i really need a high mounted set like Simons. I so want a remote controlled piped hiab, that would be awesome, i did some small cony dismantles the other day from the hook, using it as a mainline with the winch, aswell as lifting sections it was magical, now if it was remote like hucks, wow. It would of saved me climbing down out the tree, back in the truck, getting stuck back up the tree etc etc. Great pics, keep em coming:thumbup:

Worked her hard today, 3 loads moved (30ish tonnes altogether), 300km travelled.

 

These were the second and third load, all plane. Didnt get a pic of the first one, but it was pretty well stacked up too.

Certainly is, the tree was in the back garden of a old people's home, tight access across a lawn and a bit of a chicane through the flower beds! Wouldnt have got an 8 wheeler in there, let alone an artic, but that is where a nice short 4 wheeler like mine really comes in handy.
