The question was as per the thread title, but I guess you don't have the answer. Nor does anyone else it seems.

Maybe I already answered the question myself and a Thermo Rosa is as good as anything.

No I dived in on a bit of thread drift.

 

I have a bosky in the garage which I always meant to fit but have no experience of using a range with boiler since I left home and the rayburn  around 1967 and that was coal fired.

Renwable John on here used to have so clear views on the log fired ranges. Might be worth tracking down some of his old posts as he didn't rate what he had which I think was an Essy.

but she settled for a 1200mm Bertazzoni in the kitchen instead.

Yeah, I remember John's posts. Without looking them up again I think it was an Esse Ironheart he had.
