Good Stuff Eric. You are very fortunate man working in the words, not having the aggravation that comes with city trees and people.

Thanks Reg.  I did the urban arborist thing in my younger days, but it wasn't my cup of tea. Lasted as long as I could, then ran back to the woods where I belong.

I'm a big fan of your work, climbing style, and techniques, and have really been enjoying your latest round of vids. Keep em' coming!

Take it you don't like hard hats ?

That's exactly the second thing that came to mind. First thought was people don't get sleepy doing tree work. Then I spotted the cap. Branches from that height can snap and fly like shrapnel in any direction.

The hardhat thing is a dead horse. I very rarely wear PPE, but choose to wear it sometimes, or when I have to.  This is how I was brought up , and it has kept me safe for decades.   As they say, let those who ride decide!

Dont have a clue what the “sleepy” comment means?

Breaking in a new groundie/general helper lately. Kid might just be a keeper? Todays was his first time working with the mill. We got into some beautiful mildly birds-eyed logs.
