Think I payed £30 for this brades a few years back , the seem to be going up in value so I’ve left this one as a house pet and have a well worn elwell no7 in the truck IMG_1528485929.038745.jpg

The singular fact that struck me, was the generous amount of room left for the wooden shaft!

Which after ruefully observing the failure mechanism of various hammers and sledges that I have owned and reshafted.

Is significent.

I like to get the odd axe off Utube, more about supporting the Utuber channel than wanting an axe..

I came across a new channel the other day,,   not a professional set up but her husbands seems to do some very good axes..

I'm thinking of getting one off her channel myself in the near future..   theres something special about owning an axe that you see being built...  re purposed that is.  giving it a new life story..

Try searching for skillcult on YouTube or his blog online. He's a bit long winded but seems to know his stuff re axes, and other things.
Good advice in the posts above too.
