Try something like this to polish the inside, attaches to drill. You will probably find something cheaper else where tho.

No probs , If you scroll down the page they do a chestnut finishing oil that gives it a better look than danish oil a nicer sheen to it.

I carved the bulk out with the chainsaw, then a little bit of sanding with an orbital sander, and a couple of disc type sanding attachments on grinders, and an arbortech wheel, then a few hours by hand. It is far from perfect if you look closely, but that is why i dont do woodwork- i am too impatient.
