Stolen chipper

Timberwolf 190DH serial no.205137012, year 2006 old shape with integral steel mudguards, rust on engine cover plus pitted holes and missing n/s spring catch on feed tray. Hours worked approx. 3000.

Taken from Standish , Wigan, Weds. 11th April at 6pm. White hi-top transit reg. NJ 56 GWY ,distinctive silver wheel covers , 3 males involved. Last seen heading towards Bolton at 6.20pm.

Hi Steve , yes we did, my neighbour has excellent quality cctv,got facials of the three involved,their modus operandi..ie hand-held grinder which took only 5 minutes to get through three padlocks ,wire ropes, heavy duty bike chains etc. The same gang have been involved with stealing caravans in Leyland , Preston and another unit on the estate we are based at a month ago.Annoying thing is this happened last week and the police still have not viewed the cctv ! I think the same gang are responsible for stealing all our saws,blowers,polesaws,hedgecutters twice in 2016 so this is the third major loss in 2 years. They know when the site security starts and finishes so they work round this. Kind regards Pete.

Having the registration number wouldn't count for much imo. IF any of us were going out to pinch someone's tools would we use a van registered to us? Even if they did use their own van would it have the correct number plates on?
