Landy Headlight conversion .?

Hi all has any body on here changed the old sealed light units on a 110 landy to the newer halogen type . If so how do they compare . Do you have to change any fixings , Surrounds . What make did you go for cheers all . Reason for change well I smashed my h light today .

My mate has the conversion, it makes them much better IMO. I thought about doing it on mine but it needs an engine first lol

hi,all my defenders have h4 type lights with halogen bulbs . i use 150w main beam 100w dipped beam i know its a bit naughty but at least you can see where your going!

mate of mine has them on his defender 90 van straght forward swap from what he said

if you do get new lights get a set of HID bi xenon bulbs for them , they are even better than halogen. i fitted a set on my mog that went from candles to floodlights LOL

As above , i changed mine to halogen ,not seen those others before .Well worth the money and the 20 mins to swap them over

the output of those is 23000 volts

 

once fitted you will have lights same as most of the luxury cars

Ive looked at mine tonight and they look really old . My Landy is a 1986 and when I broke it today Ive cracked the whole casing and glass . Looks like new lights all round .
