my waist size is 40 to 42 just wondering what size waist they go up to

I've had a look this morning and the Weaver large is 40-44 waist with big leg adjustable loops.

Austria Duo 2 goes quite large but i think you might struggle with the leg loops.

Hpoe this is of help.

We will be at Capel Manor so if your there you can give it a try.

Your right....... but if it's modified will it pass LOLER

As long as you replace it with something that is capable of doing the job, yes. For instance, you could replace the original steel dee with a maillon. That would cope with 3 way loading if you put more than one biner in it, or cross loading if it slipped out of position.

If you replaced it with an alloy biner, you would have problems, ie chain linking biners, cross loading, 3 way loading.

Not all modifications are bad, you just need to apply common sense, think about what you are trying to achieve and make sure the bits you use are up to the job.

how would you replace the bridge on that?

The rings open up to allow you to swop bridges, I think you can get 3 differant lengths.
