Have been asked not to climb single line on all of there sites which as I'm sure you'll agree is rather irritating! 

From what  I hear there is no certified qual for it so using it on site will not be covered under insurance.

I would say as you 'qualified ' under NPTC or Lantra - you climbed on the 'prussic ' and 'loop' so that is all yr allowed to use until they upgrade the assessment ( obvs I completedly ignored that .... )

 

Although , if it is a 'safe system' of ' work positioning '  ( all equipment CE and load rated ) then really I cannot see the problem ! K

What does it say in the generic and site specific RAs? How you access a tree is not coved by statute, but you're going to have to give a good reason why you decide to go against industry best practice.
