Here's my latest splicing. Ropeguide 2.0.

 

Just need to whipp it and use the heat gun and jobs a fish cake:biggrin:.

 

Inside the large eye ive inserted some 5mm wire to make retrieval easier. First impressions seem promising.

Looks nice mate. Have you seen the trapeeze on the new Rope Guides? You don't need to undo them, They have a little spring on one side! You just push them onto the rope! Totally pointless and will only save about 10 secs out of your working day, But I thought it was cool!! haha!! Probably cost about £20 though!!! haha!!

nod was doin them at the wales woodfest. very good idea but im still not convinced at the retrieval prospects!

 

I was talking to nod about what to do for the best. Ive always had my doubts about soft eyes over cambium rings too. This idea does seem to work really well though.

 

Lts face it,they all get stuck at some point!! haha
