Lad at our place was blocking a cherry down and as he was sliding his climbing line down it got caught on a little twig and he didn't realise. He actually cut below his hitch but slid the hitch over the cut for some reason?!

 

ahh, cut in the rope was going to be my second guess! :001_tt2:

They do, but that hitch looks as sloppy as a whores fandango!

 

Haha! It ain't my hitch. To be fair to him though he hasnt climbed on it yet..........although it probably wont look much different ?! Haha

Nice work John. Just curious why you used xtc over tenex/yalex etc?

 

mainly as thats all i had in my splicing bag :blushing:

 

il take a picture of the sling i made for an isc block out of some gleinstein hollowbraid if i get up the yard tomorrow
