Hi there does anyone know if there is a place that might run a NPTC chipper opp orations course over a weekend and maybe the test over the next ?? I would like to do my chipper course but doing it over a weekend would be really good

Most Lantra instructors would do it at a weekend its only one day, and just booked an assessor for the next

Id go for NPTC myself, Lantra certs only last 5 years, i did mine and now ive got the ball ache of renewing it as its ran out!!

There is no such thing as NPTC training, its all Lantra, and NPTC now only lasts 5 Years too

I didnt realise that they all last 5 years now, I dont suppose it matters which Little tree gets then :001_cool:

the only bonus with Lantra is you arnt paying for an external assessor

 

Yeah, thats the reason my boss at the time chose Lantra he said :thumbup1:

HSE compliant training is HSE compliant, and if theres an accident no matter who was the assessing body, if your tickets are over 5 years they are still going to ask..........WHY did you not have the advised refresher? right? I think so as thats one of the questions we were recently asked
