Ty, we had a distributor for the UK, but starting now we will do our sales directly to professionals, as we have been doing in the other European countries. Sorry for this quite late reaction on your price request....  The Haecksler 4EP with 18 HP costs € 5.390, which is  4.715 pounds today (June '18).
If you would like to receive all information and prices of other versions, please visit the contactpage on our website

I have just ordered the Venom 13HP from Rock so once it arrives I'll let you know how it performs..!

It appears to be the same as the Jansen 1500 GTE but with a Briggs engine (which my gut tells me should be better) and best part of £500 cheaper, they were very helpful when I spoke to them to order, they chucked in a spare set of blades. They explained that they assemble them there, adjust the blades, run them up and test everything before shipping them.

Fingers crossed!

Can only say good things about rock gear .  You won’t be disappointed in your chipper. I’ve got one and I’ve chogged a fair bit through mine in the past year without any dramas👍

You will love it every bit as good as the CS100 and a lot easier to move about :)

Wish I had not sold mine now :(

So the Venom 13HP arrived - its ace, the buying and delivery process was very good - good comms from Rock etc and delivery when they said although we did have to help the delivery guy get it off the pallet as its pretty heavy.

As I say it is pretty heavy but I can move it about easy enough one manned, checked it out before starting it up, blades adjusted, belts fine etc.

Ran it up starts easily from the electric starter - the thing eats really well, pulls stuff in strongly and throws it out really well - only done about 30 mins through it and will do a load more this weekend but so far its not bogged on anything up to and (probably) bigger than it says it will take (8.5cm).

Ah yes, the greenmech aquachip, used extensively for the removal of floating dead wood.. seen here in its natural environment, waiting for it's prey to float by before it strikes.
