Remind me which Dash-cam you went for in the end, and why. I know you said on another thread but I can't find it.

NextBase 512G Mr E.

Looked at loads, there really is too much choice in every aspect of life these days (bloody Brexit!)

Not much to say good about 1 over any other really. I’m pleased with it. I applied the logic “buy cheap = buy twice” so went towards the mid-range budget wise.

You plug it in, it records stuff - job done. Didn’t look at the manual, didn’t know how to get files off it until that tractor incident. It was no drama, plug in into Mac, transfer files. Job done.

Pretty happy all all round really, would (will) but another for wife. ??

PS don’t forget - 100% deductible as IT equipment!

Ta, just had a quick look on eBay, they seem to range from £100-£200, I haven't read the spec though coz I've got to go to the pub, pick up me brake pads and discs, you see. Nothing at all to do with grabbing a couple of pints of a Monday.

saw a good one the other day, some car flying round the corner, disco 1 coming the other way stopped, had a massive winch bumper on it, car couldn't stop so hit it, disco just pushed the car backwards into the hedge and drove off, the damage to the lads ford KA was major, wasn't a mark on the disco!!! :lol:
