Ooh! Just by way of a PS, notice in the first segment how hard her fingers are pushing down on the pack of cards on the table before the top half rotates when she removes her fingers cos of being a trick pack. Sorry when she turns the pack by nothing but the power of her mind!

cheer up ya miserable sod:laugh1:

i know they are all tricks and i know how some are done but i do admire the execution of the performance...

Oh absolutely, technically superb; though not sure about the twitching if that is meant to pretend some mental illness.

I could never enjoy 'magic' tricks cos 'magic' was never an explanation for how it was done. Once, however, Penn & Teller explained how it was done, then, I could marvel at how the illusion unfolded and how the deception came about and the technical ability of the performer. But that's just me being aspy.

Always happy here. Hope you are too and thanks for posting.

Ahhh lovely, what could more festive than twitching witch?

On a serious note nice to see the remarks from the PM "Britons should "take pride" in their country's Christian heritage at Christmas, Theresa May has said."

No have it out.

I realise we live in a predominately atheist country these days  but some of us like to celebrate Christmas from a Christian view point

Ok. It is worth thinking about the fact that our Christian ancestors would certainly have had this girl burned alive at the stake. Celebrating our Christian heritage is a pretty disturbing concept.

It is perfectly legitimate to state that Christianity has moved on since then, but it is very important to note that it is secular reasoning and science that have shaped Christian thinking on what is correct in the bible.

The bible is getting shorter. Eventually it will be able to be viewed as a pretty decent book on ethics, once God's perfect word has been extremely heavily and permanently edited.

It would be very easy for almost anybody to write a much better code of conduct in a few minutes right now.

In the interests of thread integrity I will try very hard to make this the last I say on this matter here!:$

Well said [emoji106]

Speaking of talent, a lady I know (not a witch!) made this piece of art for display at Christmas.
