HI Guys has anyone done tree planting before ?. I have just been offered a full time Temp job tree planting until April. I have got to do a trial day on Thurs to see if they like me and I like them .

 

Anyone done it as a reg job ?I would like to know your experiences as I have not done it before.

I wouldnt fancy doing it full time, hand planted 40 heavy standard this time last year.

 

Digging the tree pits was a killer! Not my thing, dont knock it till you tried it though, you may enjoy it :)

Well he said they could be different sizes depending on the site we will be doing . I am quit pleased as it will be regular garenteed work for a few months for me lets hope it goes well on Thurs for me :biggrin:

If its lots of different sites and bare root standard's, etc, it should not be to bad.

 

Sticking in 1000's of whips can get VERY tedious.

 

& then putting on the green tree shelters & staking them 4,000 on 1. site as requierd by the builder i got very good money so it was worth it & that paid for mi 1,st 4x4 a we freelander :thumbup:
