That’s a very expansive question. I would be very happy to discuss it but probably best not here.
The prodigal son story was just a bit of fun to take the Mickey out of the preposterous suggestion of a referendum replay.
On reflection it probably wasn’t the best analogy, after the prodigal son came to his senses and realised that his father was a good guy and he was well loved back home.
I don’t believe anyone could say that was how things are with the EU.

I’ll definitely be coming down that way later this year. I have a thing for Cathedrals. Unfortunately our local one got bombed by some head case with a funny tash.
