This one's probably been on before, and is most definately a bit grim (feel free to remove it stevie, if it's too OTT)

 

This wan't caused by a climbing harness, it was a six point car harness in a rally car that was loosely attached, the car crashed and the guy shot forward in the harness, the rest speaks for its self:sad:

maybe a different one mate. the file links to a pic and description of what happened. No rally car mentioned.

Cut my thumb in two some 25 years ago. Its now about a centimeter shorter than t'other with no knuckle in the middle and no tendon to pull the tip up. It healed slightly twisted despite the six inches of wire pushed into it in four places. That's what happens when you rush cutting logs on a large circular saw! Two months off work and I was self employed :ohmy:
