Boxer skid steer opinions

Hi all, looking at getting a Boxer mini skid-steer (not sure which one yet) but just looking for advice and opinions on them really.

I was looking at getting a stump grinder also but think it may be better to get a skid steer and have a grinder attachment on it.

I wouldn’t be grinding loads but just need it for the odd job.

I just anted to know if the grinder attachment is any good and other than a grab what attachments may be useful for tree work?

Thanks in advance.

I won’t be swayed I want one to save the lads backs but I’d like to avoid buying a stump grinder as well if I can help it, one of my least favourite jobs but if I can have one as an attachment to a machine I enjoy using then it might soften the blow every time I have to take the machine out.

I had a boxer loader with a stump grinder for a long time, the loader was awesome but the track system ie bearings, idlers and pulleys wasn’t really up to it long term. The stump grinder was pretty rubbish but filled a gap and made use of the machine until I could afford to replace it with a dedicated grinder

buying the boxer was one of the best decisions Ive made and was a good stepping stone to building the kit I’ve got now. Personally I really rate diggers these days but loader type machines are good if your going back and forth a bit
