Finally got a spare few hours to have a go at carving, With little help from youtube i went for an Owl. Here is the result, Carving bar on order! I think i've got the bug ha!

Well done, I would be happy with it for first one, or second or third for that matter. I’m just beginning also, waiting for bar and chain.

Hi good effort,a grinder with a rough disk on it will be a massive help I would be lost without mine , and if anybody wants to come and have a day doing a few basics , give me a shout I am in Shaftesbury Dorset
