how much will one of them set you back? i'm thinking mucho moolah

fully kitted up they certainly look like a handy tool, and if you get one, i might be able to throw a bit of work your way in the future...

if it was my money i'd probably look at an alpine tractor or alstor forwarder, but then, its not my money, and is unlikely to be for the forseable future:001_tongue:

£5K upwards; point is it's small (rather like the scaling down in chippers in fashion on here presently!); multipurpose, can be riden, can pull trailers, not fallen off and will go much steeper than an alpine - which I need... :001_smile:

How did you get a price??

I got feed up of ringing the number on the web site, I also tried the mobile number from the the machine on the land line.

'Phoned (Artcom Tradebridge) and MD 'phoned me back in the evening - had a chat. He said a US manufacturer of undercarriage parts had gone bust so the iron horse people were tooling up another co causing all his demo machines to be sold ?! Start price 5k all the way upto 10; average seven with timber trailer, winch etc.

they look amazing for the right job, as tbc says, times are changing, sowe should change with it to stay ahead of the game, if we can keep out overheads to a minimum, which i find is labour, then a machine like this would be excellent for extracting timber for firewood/milling and get woodland maintenance back on its feet around the country.
