Thanks all for your replies. I'll follow up a few of the links and see how i get on. They are no good for day to day use but superb for small stumps in gardens with no access. If i could find one I thought about getting / making a cart for the stihl saw. They aren't as deadly / dangerous as they sound in my experience. Cheers for your help

Husqvarna do one but the hire shops used to hire out the partner version . Basically a stihl saw with a small stump cutter head on .Bolted to a two wheeled trolley . Only any good if sharp and the stumps are quite small . I wouldnt be suprised if someone on here has got one as they are handy .

ive got one:thumbup:

it runs off a husky 272 its in bits as it needs a piston and barrel its ok for small conifer stumps when you have no access but it needs to be razor sharp.

Now I come to think of it isnt the Partner version owned by eletrolux which means its the same as the husky and jonsered ? Might be cheaper if you can find a second hand power unit of the same kind .And have mucho spares . Cool little machine . You should get some pics up . Dont sell it as they are hard to go get hold of secondhand . cheers .:thumbup1:

There you go apbell as i said in bits but you get the idea, i may fix it over the winter as a wee project, i have had it for years.

Cheers for that it is exactly as i remember . Winter project top idea . Surely you can charge more if no one else can get to the stump . Would be nice to see the finished project . Thanks nice little project there :thumbup1: all the best .

Desperate for one of these! used to hire the partner one from ermin plant - did the job but perfect for a-hole access like this:

Danequip 27 got 4 of them but that was that - too tight.
