I feel that anything on the road needs to pass a test every year! Might seem extreme but that dickhead who knocked over that woman on a circuit bike may have stopped in time, and vehicles can have defects which we wouldn't think happen in under a year. I regularly come across trailers that have poor brakes, many people seem to forget that a chipper is a fully loaded trailer!

I presume that was a steam driven car.

Think it was a Morris 8 side valve but could be mistaken / confused Eggs due to my age mate :D
