CIS deductions

Personally I think all tax should be scrapped as its a socialist concept, then all public services are private and have to earn their money based on customer service and results.

but as we dont live in that utopia we are all slaves to the state. If you want to pay no tax at all then screw you and don't use any public services that the rest of us pay for (apart from the millions of immigrants of course who pay nowt).

Man up, pay your measly 20% and be grateful when you get some back at the end of the year. PAYE slaves can only dream of such luck!

Nope

I'll stick to holding onto my money until the tax is due thanks :001_smile:

work for a builder and it will be due as you earn it, really simple.

If the builder doesnt pay it monthly he will be fined.

Doubt he will want to break the law just so you dont have to pay tax.

I have a letter from the tax office saying I'm exempt. In 20 plus years I've not had a single penny deducted.

I've worked for many builders, only one has ever not accepted the letter, I chose not to work for them :001_smile:

Exempt from CIS deductions? Or have I missed something? Are we still talking about works like site clearance pre-construction?
