got an intermitant probelm with the feed rolls, now and then feed rollers stop working, press the button and they work, finger off and they stop, after while this goes away and r workin fine, checked all the wiring seems fine.......any ideas

u check hydrolic fluid level ??

Try checking the relays under the top feed roller cover.

 

There should be two. Waggle them first see if there is a loose connection. If it persists, try swapping the relays with ones you know are ok, they are, I am certain a standard relay same as you find on a car.

 

If this doesn't work I'm afraid it's wiring diagram and test meter

Also check the engine revs are up to spec

ive found the timberwolf relay wiring pretty poor,id open up the box and check nothings come loose.

used some that used to consistantly do it ussually on jobs that needed to be done fast,got pretty fast at re wiring that box!

If your using the older style box then the switches are loose or damaged change them for new.

 

if the reverese stops but does not reverse one of the two switched which operate it are not connecting. Same for the input roller switch makes sure clean contacts etc.

its decided to work ok now, so aint goin to fiddle with it til i got a few spare days, had a demo with a new greenmech 6inch tracked it performed pretty good, the deal is tempting.

If it's the safe-trak 16-23 you're talking about then I'd go for it - it's an excellent bit of kit.
