Just had a look at the video, and he was just blabbing on about the battery systems for most of it. Had a look on the German Stihl website, and it says that the new 462 with M-tronic is (at time of writing) the lightest in its class, of 70cc. Has a "motorgewicht" or engine weight (if I translate correctly) of just 6kg.

If I can get the boss to get one when it comes out, I'll let you know 😁

I hope stihl arent making another mistake with one of their better saws!!:001_rolleyes:

Whats wrong with 461???:001_huh:

Well let me help you there

1. Robust like a tank

2. Reliable

3. Great power delivery

4. Simple to maintain

5. Simply rules its power class

6. bought by hardened Husky users.

Sadly these terrible traits have to be addressed :confused1:

I glad I could help.

Oh I forgot to say on the list the 461 lasts for years so that's no good for new sales. Better to bring out something mainly built from plastic and has overly complicated electronics that's at best very expensive to repair and ideally it would probably need replacing more regularly than its predecessor
