I've just bought a new husky 550xp for my arb course. As I'm also doing climbing and aerial cutting I'm looking at a top handle saw. My current option are either a husqvarna t540 XP or a husqvarna t536 li XP? Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated

If you go for the T540 be sure its the MK 2 version with all the mods which stop it falling in half when dropped on its strop .

I understand the mark 2 husky has had an upgrade on the engine as well. The latest Stihl runs so much much better than the husky mark 1 but the plastics on the new Stihl are crap

Don't worry Ti he hasn't succeeded despite his best efforts. Apart from the little slip and buying the 461, my faith will not Wain I am still a firm believer in my religion that clearly states that there is only one true chainsaw ( which is orange and comes from the lands called Sweden)
