just got one of these harnesses and find that i have to have the waistband pretty tight to get on, then feels ok in the tree? any one else find this, also any other tips on getting a nice fit. impressed with it so far comfy and seems to work with you rather than against as did my old treeflex.

thanks carl

Treemotion was designed to fit "low slung" so that the waist band is actually round the top half of your backside. Great for branch walking but not so great for hanging a big saw off.

I haven't quite got used to wearing it that way as I find any saw bigger than a 150 pulls it down. Wearing it tight around your waist high up can cause the leg loops to bite if not properly adjusted.

Also it is best to periodically change the length of the straps that pass through the lower D's as fraying can happen quite quickly resulting in premature retirement.

You can replace the strap that run through the lower D's if they do wear, save retiring the whole harness.

They cost enough without getting your full use out of them!

Do you have a link? When I looked at them it looked like they would have to be re-stitched.

Thanks

I just commented this same thing on the courant harness thread.I use the treemotion light and hanging a 261 or 441 off it is bloody awful...ends up round your groin.

Wont be getting another.

I just have mine right and high and then push it down as far as possible.

Yes a big saw may pull it down a bit but it does with every harness I have used.

Not the TM Lite I might add. I used one of these once when my kit was elsewhere. Never again unless I have to.
