Servicing the tr6 yesterday discovered three pipes on the central greasing bank had split at the control panel end.

Called forst the bloke was very knowledgable and no mention was made of user error. Five olives were put in the post for me to remake the connections and they arrived this morning and machine is now fixed.

So well done forst, one happy owner operator here.

I feel exactly the same Mick, not convinced a long thin plastic pipe on a machine that vibrates a lot in use and on a moving bearing on the feed roller is a great idea.

Considering putting quick release clips on the side panels and grease nipples on the bearings once it is out of warranty.

Glad you got sorted quickly some things they seem to react fantastically too, shame I'm still expecting a call back to sort out problems I talked at length to them about at the arb show.

What's the issue? Has it been raised on here?

No it hasn't been raised publicly as was promised it'd be sorted but that was start of year but then chased several times then talked at length at the show and was promised swift action but unfortunately it looks like it'll be back to phone calls every week.

Always irritating as it's such a fantastic productive profitable machine to own.

The thin grease pipes are crap, told forst to either bin the grease bank or put on high pressure pipes, that and the feed roller mounts/coupling/bearing is why I went to bandit. Service is great but these problems are common and need fixing.

Did they advise you to replace all the hoses? We upgraded ours to prevent this from happening, so far a year on we haven't split anymore pipe s.
