Chill people, this is a concept - something designers do trying to think ahead and discovering new things.

I would love this drone thing for set up the throw line. They are so cheap these days. Maybee someone can try this idea with a "normal" drone pretty soon.

Good new is: you can one-hand that umbilical chainsaw.

Was thinking the same thing Stampy.He should get a black one like mine and look like the fly....i agree with Stihlmadasever that the battery pack looks useful.Too much loopage to get things caught up on although i'd love to try it though but not the drone.I'll stick to hand throwing.

 

 

By the time this stuff comes out we should be able to "Bluetooth" the battery power to the saws [emoji41]

My battery pack saw has an automatic chain break, it's much safer and saves a lot of time in the tree.

 

What battery pack saw setup (climbing saw) do you use? I'm trying to find a harness mountable battery and connecting cable for use with T536Li XP...

 

Stihl seem to do a battery belt kit to reduce the hand weight of the saw.
