Whatever you do, don't keep re-applying antiseptic creams. They can end up "feeding" the necrotising bacteria. Like Stubby says, get to the doctors.

Hope you heal up quick.

Thanks everyone, spoke to a customer that sails a lot his advice is keep it clean and get it to dry off and heal .

Ment to say it the fore finger I did the end bit, and it burnt through glove as well.

Pee on it.

 

Sounds horrible but a trapeze artist once told me for palm blisters , chapped hands and cuts that urine is best.

 

It works for those mentioned. Could work once the scabs have formed.

Ha ha. When I got the aforementioned rope burn my wife poured water on it straight away, she was working with me on site, and that stung. Now imagining her having a pee, not sure it would be just my arm that would have been showered

Good for athletes foot and an easier area to aim.

 

I would often take a slash on me hands when freezing cold hands whilst out kayaking. Really warms the hands- probably wouldn't recommend that when up a tree or out on site.
