Hi all.

Just bought a mighty torque wrench to change blades myself but together the wrench body and socket length are too deep to get in to access the nut. Anyone know of a low profile socket supplier to sort this?

I've got the draper wrench.

TIA

Mark

I don't really understand, to undo the nut you don't need the torque wrench.

My standard sockets can do and undo the nuts on my st8 no probs.

you don't need a torque wrench for that, Just use a breaker bar. Tighten them with a 1' long ratchet or just grip down on the breaker bar and pull as tight as you can. If you use the full length of the breaker you may shear them.

Ok thanks so noone is doing the 310nm then?! Its the inner nut that the problem. Sure I prob shouldn't use the wrench to loosen but I was hoping to torque up to the given spec.

Jase I had a greenmech before. Both the wrench and the socket I had were smaller.

I got a box full of 'odd' tools like cut off sockets and bent spanners for the Hot Rod and having had a few Land rovers!
