Dose anyone know if the cousin black widow eye fits through the zigzag. Stockest says it dose so I'm hopefully that it dose as it's 12.1mm with splice I hope the diameter will not be increased to Over 13mm.

Thanks in advance for any one with direct experience of this rope..

No direct experience with the rope, but you will feed it onto the zigzag from the tail end so it’s irrelevant how thick splice end

My main concern is being able to remove it when in a tip point in SRT retrieval so back to front. If that makes sense.

Cheers though...

The splice is modified so it can be fed into mechanicals. The splice is considerably thinner than a traditional splice

That is what i believe. But still a little dubious the actually reality of it due to it being 12.1mm and I have no clue as too the real diameter when spliced.

Cheers

I've heard that discrepancy in the splices can have a massive impact. Some go through easily and others not so much

I hear the same. I will bite the bullet and see for myself as I would like to give a larger diameter rope a go again with mechannicals..

Thanks...
