Has anybody had a tipper conversion done by Brit Tipp? Im looking to get my Landy done soon and was recommended these today,ive looked on their website and they look quality but would like to hear of any experience anyone might have of them,thanks

saw one of their landy conversions at the apf a couple of years back, exhaust runs up through one side of the storage box and the handwash unit was in there, great place to stick wet waterproofs to dry out or a set of dry clothes to warm up for after a long barnsley winter's day:001_smile:

know a few lads that have had theres done by them nice tidy job.but for what they are payin for materials the labour is expensive.where about are you i can do you a tipper conversion a lot cheaper than anywhere pm me and tell me how you want it and ill sort you a price out..

 

id be interested, Whats the cheapest option in your mind ?

myself and nifty steve on here have just about finished converting my 130 landy to a tipper for the huge sum of £96 + fish n chip money. . . sod paying a company thousands!

 

Quite agree. From what i can tell these guys charge a shed load for something that can be done easily at home. Unless you want something that says "i earn loads of money" all over it then josh has the right idea. I did mine for about 300 notes- ali dropside tipper. Sweet. It also has a lower load bed height than any other tipper i have come across, whilst maintaining wheel clearences even with oversized tires.

 

I cannot see the point in paying thousands, but thats just me i spose.:001_smile:

DITTO . I think the money is better off in your own pocket . Sometimes people just gotta spend it though ?
