I have a fence to erect that runs along the side of a footpath that is frequented by scum bags! the fence that is currently in has being kicked to pieces and set on fire! other than palisade or mesh what other options is there? customer has asked if we can just use gravel boards but as its going to be 6' 6" high and its 190 feet long it will look horrible and cost a fortune...ideas :confused1:

Metal panel fencing, costs a fortune so I'm told. In this situation I think the concrete gravel boards in slotted posts is the best option, fence for life as well.

Its customers fence, cant plant owt behind as it will get wrecked, everything that's solid is industrial. Thought about double gravel board on bottom to make it awkward to kick then like verti lap panel but on the reverse butt boards up together and fix on. Will never get kicked through.

Verti lap panel? not sure what they are, but if they are made of wood, didn't you say they set fire to the fence?

Palisade, Vmex panels (standard or prison type), weld mesh or expanded mesh are all options.

Also consider plastic slotted posts and plastic 300mm gravel boards. Its amazingly strong, I have it at home.

you can put upa wooden fence and stitch weldmesh to it to stop them kicking it in, it worked for a customer of mine

Tried the full gravel board type and they still managed to kick them to pieces. After I had replaced them for the 4th time I think they got bored. I got paid each time for my work but it was a pita
