What bar do you all use on your Husqvarna 550xp 15" or 18"?

Hi all I am just curious as to what bars you think are best to use with this saw I personally like Oregon bars over Husqvarnas own, what I want to know is running the 18" just as good and fast as running the 15"? Or do you loose performance going up a bar?

Ive never had anything other than a 15 on mine it rips well at that:thumbup:

15" max on mine. Usually a 13" in coppice but always Sugi bars.

The newer husky bars are a little stronger than old but can't beat a sugi

18 inch sugi pro on mine I'm happy with it but it is just about its limit, also have a 15 inch bar for it and it's noticeably quicker

15inch sugi with full chisel on mine, goes well but wouldn't want to run an 18! Don't see the point in having a small nimble saw then Putting a bar on it that's too big

Usually it would entail the removal of some or all the internal baffles and opening up the outlet .
