Iam just watching heli loggers. And they have to carry a whistle. How many of us carry a whistle. I do most days but some days i forget maybe i should sleep withit on then i can't forget:lol:

Always, got one taped to the loose end of my chin strap. Have had to use it a few times and wouldn't be without it now, that and some trauma dressings / first aid kit carefully secreted about my person!

I've got one.

 

Drilled a hole in the plastic piece of the chin strap adjustment of my Petzl Ecrin helmet. The whistle is small, and totally out of the way, while being available in an instant. It's invaluable.
