Stihl It is then, Dont know what is wrong with the ryobi but it has never been right. It got very hot after a couple of minutes and wont run now, also the throttle cable seems to have broken at he same time, weird. I will get a hand held one me thinks as I aint got much space in the van and it is mainly used for leaves.

The new Stihl BG86 is excellent.

 

The AV is so good I think it is rated to be used for 24hrs a day or thereabouts!

 

My old BG85 is a good little blower, but does shake your hands up on a big clear up.

 

New one seems to have more grunt as well.

Massive improvement on the old model and a bargain price. Not much to go wrong.

Nothing wrong with the little stihl one, mine was bught in 2003 and has never missed a beat.

Anyone recommend a good place to buy the bg 86 on internet. I know stihl have a no internet sales policy but I aint got the time to travel to exeter at the moment
