At least the new saws are waterproof!

The first 020's I used wouldn't start if they got wet. If you were climbing in the rain you'd have to leave em ticking over. Leave them on the lawn for ten minutes and they were a pig to stat again.

We'd leave them under the van at breaktimes if it was wet, but did run a few over:blushing:[/quote

Thanks Gary for the heads up. I won't chuck the 201 in the river to kill it then I'll stick to the tried and tested back wheel method

i have been offered an ms 200 by a customer (landscaper). like new, totally genuine. little or no work done , maybe 5 years old.

she wants to replace it with a small rear handle saw so i told her i would find out its value and take it as part payment on a job we,re doing. might keep or sell on.

any value ? anyone interested?

The MS200 is a great saw, I have refurbished sooooo many of these, like old friends. Got to find out all their little niggles now and how to sort them!

yes. great saw, ive had several but moved on to using t540 cause i didnt like the 201 when it came out first.

one of my climbers uses my last ms200 so i might give him this one.

any idea what would be a fair price to allow for it ?

thanks
