What some people don't realise is Trump was elected to spite the establishment...

The more cockups he makes, the more satisfied become his electorate.....

Thus every time the media attempt to discredit him the more popular he becomes.... they're just to thick to work that out... idiots..

It's a twisted logic but we are living with the results.

Only time will tell.

By this logic, any change in any political figure would occur to spite the existing establishment. Do we apply the same logic to when Obama became president, when Kennedy became president, when Clinton became president, and so on? And if we do, what's the ultimate difference? Are people not allowed to demand any form of change without their being accusations of spite thrown around?

The political 'right', which typically voted for Donald Trump, almost certainly don't want to see the US burn. After all, who would ever want to burn down their own home whilst they are still there and want to stay there? You'd have to be pretty darn silly to leave yourself prone to the scorching effects of the fire and the eventual collapse of the roof from above your head.

It's the traditional politicians that seem hell bent on seeing the West burn. I think most Westerners prefer Trumps approach to Merkel's " let them all in" approach.

I think the Nice and Paris attacks are a warning to Westerners of what the future will be like unless we get people like Trump in.

I pray that Le Pen becomes President of France and Geert Wilders becomes President of the Netherlands.

Do you not think such moves create division to such a degree that it truly becomes about "us, against them" which can only serve to radicalise.

You've become radicalised, and an american teenage muslim who'd been fine just being an american and also a person of religion is far more likely to believe the vileness of the likes of is-is when the president of his own country demands he registers as a muslim, or people that happen to follow a belief system are no longer welcome in his country for that.

Now, he'll be a marked person, no longer an american first, but a registered muslim, singled out because of his faith.

Would it not make sense that this person would rebel against such oppression, and may well follow the advice of those highly influential recruitment videos the muslim radicals awash the interwebs with. Subtly and specifically targeted to crawl into the mind of young people, plant the seed of unfairness and nurture that emotion into hatred.

Trump is adding fertiliser and water to this hatred.

As far as presidency candidates, it's more likely you and I become engaged in a romantic relationship than that Wilders becomes president of the Netherlands.

Le Pen, not so sure.
